For those that haven’t read Eclipse, can someone explain how Bella goes from Edward asking her to marry her in New Moon to kissing Jacob in Eclipse?

So I know the favorite is the original Twilight. But Robert Pattinson has been in alot more movies than that.
So the question is…
Can you not only name the movies, but the name of the characters he has played?

So I just got done watching New Moon… well at least part of it. I watched until Edward left Bella in the woods and started watching again when Alice came back.
What did you think about the middle of the movie? Now there is nothing wrong with the middle of the movie, but without Edward being [...]
Everybody loved the original Twilight. I can’t tell you how many times I have watched the movie. What did everyone think about New Moon? There were a bunch of cheesy parts, but there were some parts that rivaled the first movie.
